Leaving the nest

Joe is taking the next big step in his life. Yep he’s moving out soon. He will be starting school in July and has decide to get an apartment to go with his new schedule. He plans to work full time at his current job while attending school full time. Man that takes a lot of energy!

Janice and I are so proud of him. He has been working so hard to get an education. I had forgotten how many prep test there are.

His plan is to get 12 credit hours so he can join the Air Force. So he is taking a trade class called Advanced Aerostructures Technician at WATC

When he is done with the Air Force he plans to continue his education with college.

It’s going to be so strange with only Emily and Janice here.

Good Luck Joe! We gonna miss you so much.

I remember leaving home. my parents made too big a deal about it. saying I was too young and making every excuse in the book why I should stay, mostly money. It seems like you are much more supportive of your child leaving

Well, I guess kids eventually grow and move out. It’s our way of life, and I guess we’re just going to get used to it. I would be lying if I say that it doesn’t hurt a bit because watching my eldest son walking to the door for his first step of independence a while back, made me shed some tears (but I hid it) but hey! it’s for his own good, come to think of it training him to be more independent and allowing him to grow and follow his own life’s destiny made me happy deep inside somehow.

Goodluck Joe, I’m pretty sure your parents are very proud of you.
